The charming tourist-guide illustration above was created by Suzanne Dolesch circa 1967. Born in Hungary in 1932, artist and illustrator studied at the Art Gymnasium and the Fine Arts Academy in Budapest. She left Hungary in 1956 and spent the next 14 years in Canada and America, where she worked as an artist and an illustrator. Her commissions included a mural for the Ontario Pavilion at Expo 67, and murals and tapestries for many large American corporations. She arrived in Australia in 1970 and has held several successful exhibitions.
Where else in North America can you wander around Parisian-style boulevards and winding 17th-century streets? Visiting Montréal is a history-lovers paradise – with beautiful sights like the Notre-Dame Basilica, elegant squares, and a host of museums. We'll drive; you enjoy.
